The Most Aggressive Freshwater Aquarium Species

I'd have to say aba aba knives. Even though they're mellow when they're small, once they get around 18", they will kill anything just for fun, no matter what size the fish is. I've never heard of a large one that would tolerate tankmates. Even in overly crowded tanks where there's no room to establish a territory, they will still kill just to kill.

I haven't heard of them "killing EVERYTHING for fun"... I know they are extremely aggressive but i didn't think they were that bad...

Wait, what about crystal eyed catfish and asian redtail catfish? I heard they both are some of the most aggressive freshwater aquaria species.

idk about agressive i thought they usually jsut ate anything that could fit in their mouths which is pretty much everything since theyre so huge

Aimara is for sure a up there for aggression, ive seen videos of peoples hands getting bit while in the tank on youtube, bleeding cuts and the thing was like 6 inch.. imagine what even a 12 incher could do haha

ive heard of Flowerhorns being quite nasty as far as cichlids go with biting owners.. i feel its more up to the fish though on how aggro it is, things like water quality, tank setup and such must effect things. Also breeding, i dont wanna know how aggro an ATF would get IF (not saying they do, not sure about that) they did protect fry haha any fish coming in would get shredded.

Russian Kaluga Sturgeon simply because of their size of up to 18 feet and their more predatory mouths compared to the more bottom feeding mouths of american sturgeon see what i mean about size and the moutn more outward then downward? The thing is 1360 lbs in this video!
