You will get some of that during the summer but they do a good job of cleaning it up and during the winter, it is devoid of people so all of the fish are out and about. Definitely the time of year to go.

Not many gators, they are adapted to murky water and generally will avoid clear water (although there are a few places were you can find gators nearby).
