I don't see any hybrid trait. With vertical barring, it looks like a regular V. fenestratus.

The fish look beautiful. But whatever you get from a hybrid. I think you can get even better from a pure bred.

Is this definitely a hybrid? It looks like a normal fenestratus to me too.

If its not a hybrid then I guess I've never seen a non pink fenestratus before..... Unbelievable contrasting colors. I want one!

Thank you guys. I'm not certain that it's an hybrid, as I took it from a shop that didn't want it ( the fins and body were in a very bad shape). Looking at the options ( syns, fenestratus, zonatus, bifa, maculicauda, hartwegi) I couldn't find a perfect match, it seems that it can match a mixture of them.. but I may be wrong

Fenestratus comes in quite a variety of colours depending on catch location.There is no way to be 100% certain,but yours looks like a true form to me.
