Do they think proctologists and gynecologists are molestors as well?

I wouldn't have wanted to give it back to someone so ignorant. You'd think someone so apt to anthropomorphize would take better care of their 'baby'. I know it was in the friends care but the owner didn't even check in enough to notice it was getting in poor condition much less about to be given away.

Couldn't agree more.

As I mentioned before, there was no indication they were THIS ignorant before I delivered the snake. Even with the setup of the enclosure, concerns they had on feeding & shedding, and all the "usual" care stuff they had, they seemed very appreciative of the fact that they were able to locate their animal & in general the type of person who I would normally adopt to... it's just that ONE THING they were so outrageously against. Perhaps they had some sort of religious objection, or personal traumatic experience objecting to the situation, it's hard to tell. It was just very very weird.

oh yeah I don't fault you for giving it back, honestly, I would give it back too because the truth was it's their snake.

I could have pulled the fact that I was under no legal obligation to return the snake to them (they didn't have any physical proof besides what was said, and their friend signed a surrender document handing the snake over to us) But it was one of those situations where quite frankly I was a little scared for myself... like they went from perfectly reasonable to outright unstable really quickly & I was alone for the drop-off, so I guess so long as the snake is in a reasonably OK home despite the fact that the people are a little bit opinionated on veterinary procedures I guess it's not too big a deal.

True, I mean, the snake is not in neglectful hands. Sucks you had to go through that weird situation lol

I got yelled at in the pet shop i work, the guinea pigs where traumatized because the rabbits sexualy molested them. According to her they where crying in a corner of their cage. People humanize animals to much, not much you can do about it.

They do that already. Our store carries popular lines of food for cats and dogs that are "vegetarian" and "vegan". We also carry "kosher" foods for the holidays and the animals that celebrate it. -_-
Thats just sad.
This saddens me.....
It angers me .
