yes.sam has a very varied diet....but his favorite is massivore.
the tank gets assorted hikari in the AM and a mix of shrimp and smelt at night
I don't feed my fish any Hikari, they get addicted to it way to easily! Hikari must put crack in their food or something...

when my lung was in my tank he could come up to the surface and suck in like 20 or so floating cichlid sticks at once before going back down to the bottom.
(dunno what brand.i stopped using it a few mths ago.)

My CK will shove in his mouth as many Hikari cichlid pellets he can see.. in one scoop probably 10-15 ..but i try not to let this happen..
I feed my africans 3-4 different foods at one so i cant could but sometimes they spit the food up and its alot more than id expect them to fit in there.
