The Nandopsis beani

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I love this guy. Everytime I see a post on a grown beani I get extremely jealous. I have tried to raise baby beani and I have been unsuccessful with them as they always seem to die from bloat. I do water changes weekly, feed once a day with flakes and no luck. I haven't found no one in Canada that has a decent size beani for sale. Great job with this guy he is a beast. How's his aggression?

Thank you so much for the comments!
The beanii which I posted on the 1st page is our big one, I believe he is the one people called" white beanii".
Now I am going to post some pics of my other one, which came from different collect location. Let me know , which one is the best looking beanii.
Thanks.

The beanii from Second set pics was came from location called"Mazatlan," near Sinaloa. The beanii came from Mazatlan are more " Gold colour " than the other ones, which also called "silver". Both are very nice fish. I am very happy with both these wild caught beaniis.

Both look great. Personally I like the fish in the second set of photo's.

I like them both how do you not love Beani? I agree I lean slightly towards the second myself.

Me too, most the time, we can find a lot silver beanii on the market in the US, the scond one is more catch people's eye than the frist one.He is only 8-9 " , long way to go for show right now, but he is perfect show quality fish already. He did kill his female, lol.
