Just an update on the 29g nano my girlfriend and I have been building. Everything is going really strong, all the animals are doing really well. I'm running without a refuge or skimmer, but I do water changes twice a week. Going to get a skimmer eventually just so I don't have to work so hard myself. :irked:

I took some of these pictures shortly after turning on my tank lights. So some of the polyps are closed up, but you get the idea. Heh.

This tank really just makes me wish I had the money to convert one of my bigger tanks into saltwater. Haha, oh well, someday I'll have the money (and space) for a big reef tank.

All of these pictures and more come from the link in my signature. If you'd like to see more check it out! :grinno:

This video is a little bit older, as there's more corals and the placing of things have been changed a bit since then. I'll try to get a better group of photos and a video clip of everything opened up tomorrow. Thanks for checking it out!

what's that little grey fish swimming around in the middle of the tank the first 10 seconds?

oh.. really?

i would call that a little more that 'just a little grainy' then :D

nice pics, i like to looks of your tank. What kind of pseudochromis is that in the first pic. Im a little lazy today and dont feel like looking it up lol.

looks like an arabian, pseudochromis aldabraensis

yup. rather pricey but also rather tame.. as with many red sea dotties

Thanks for the comments. I think the dotty is a pseudochromis aldabraensis although I've seen it called a "neon" rather than "arabian". Not sure what other nicknames it has. I think I got him for like $45 or so. Really neat little guy, chases the wrasse around the corals.

There's also a rock blenny, fire goby and the two true perculas.

All are pretty cool fish for the nano. My only complaint is with the clowns, they like to bite my hand.
