The Nano So Far

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Nice setup.

The Sixlines are such characters, cruising around on the currents.

Ours is a cheeky little sod, and has no problems sticking up for itself against our Dottyback and Goldstripe Maroon Clown.

And yes the clowns are pretty good at nipping hands.

Beautiful tank...

Can u pls give me the specs on ur setup.. Lighting, filteration, tank size..etc...

It's a 29g Oceanic Biocube setup I bought a while back. The lights on it are the stock compacts. They're good for a nano, but you shouldn't keep sps. You'd have to remove the top and get another light rig for sure. There isn't much of a filter on it. There's a back built-in wet/dry that's designed for bioballs. I have just filled that part with live rock and keep the water level high enough so it's to the top in the back also. The in-flow has a fiber pad for debris, but that's pretty much it. I change that every 2 weeks about. I have a heater, no skimmer. I'm going to get a skimmer probably though, I do 2 water changes a week.

Pretty much, my tank is self-sufficient.
