very well documented project! I said I couldn't wait for the photos and wow they were really good. how does everyone get along in that tank? I've found oscars are either too timid or too aggressive. I've never had one that worked well with my other stock.
I like the decision for black and white sand but maybe you should put something inbetween them like some rocks or soemthing to stop the sand from being sifted into eachtother, just a thought

i feed carni sticks and massivore, and there is peace because i have four now has of today. when i had two they would fight every time t saw them
the story on the fourth oscar was that i want into the local fish store and the owner, with out asking told the previous owner that me or rwellbaum would take it, so i took it home for free and put it in the 120 then two hours later i switched them to the 125 he has had a stressful day.
