I'm starting to get the supplies for my 6'x6'x3'. Still need everything for it unfortunately.

Just don't put it off like I did oh and Kevin the way I did it was to buy the smaller and cheaper stuff and then buy the expensive and big stuff.

why is everyone building such small ponds? Haha it would save you alot of money and extra work to just go big now then build 2 different ponds.

Ya I'm with redtailfreak. Go big now or u will regret it in a few months. I have a 12x6x3 that they have been in for 6months and I'm now starting to plan the expansion that will need to take place in a yr or less. You will save so much in the long haul if u just go big now, cause once they get up there in size they get way more active

I'll be building a 10x10x3 in a year or so. Maybe 2. I might be able to squeeze it in my 3 foot wide tank.

Well the fact of the matter is I'm building my in my bedroom. So its mainly lack of space. Ill be building mine with the ability to expand width as I please. It will have to stay 6-7' though so it wont come into conflict with my heat duct.
