The new additions. P-14's

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Eating exclusively carnivore pellets and spots are still popping up all over. They are in the 150 gallon growout tank as they are still too small for one of the bigger tanks. I don't want to risk any damage on these little guys from my adult rays as they are breeding and pretty aggressive at this time.

Moved the P-14's to the big tank today. I will get some better pics in the days to come but here is a start. They are turning out quite nice, spots popping everywhere.

Thanks. I guess I put them in too soon as the big BD/LEO male over night bit both their tails. Not to much damage but one is stressed and not eating yet. I will give them a few more days to settle in before I decide if I have to move them back to their 150.

sad, but that seems to be the life with new rays in a tank that already has a few. Keep an eye on them, I know I sure would be tempted to get them back to the 150

All is good now and they are both pounding the pellets again. Didn't take as long as I thought. They should put on some decent size now as long as I make sure they don't have to compete for food.
