yup. no flash, no multi-tasking. basically a big ass iphone. that costs twice as much. thats why i hate apple; they like to control their products so much to the point they dumb them down since they cant reach agreements with other companies.

they claim the iPad gives you greatest web browsing experience from any product. but how in the flooger can you do that without Flash? flash is all over the internet these days. but even then the fanboys will blindly spend the money and continue to bow at Steve's feet.

i'll stick with the ever-capable Android OS

It doesn't matter what the fanboyz think. Apple just enjoyed their most profitable quarter ever. They are going to sell a gazillion of these tablets. Everyone rolls with a winner.

true. but it's the fanboys that's keeping them in business, buying every single new product that comes out, w/o even thinking about it. i like to put a little more thought into expensive purchases.

i know you like Apple, so are you sold on this iPad? its neat, and the design is awesome. but if youre an Apple lover and already have an iphone and a mac, i dont see the need for this. unless somebody is a gadget junkie that needs to who have every new product.

but i dont know, i have a feeling the iPad wont be a big hit. there's disappointment all over the web. the public's response to the iPad is not what it was with the iPhone

It is redundant if you have an iphone. It looks like a big itouch to me. It might do well for those who have a 24 or 30" imac that isn't so portable.

Who knows? Everyone thought Apple would be dead years ago. Everyone thought Blackberries would rule the world by now.

I think Apple wanted this out there so they could generate some more R&D cash. If this thing is out now, that means they're working on something even more state of the art. There are lots of people with lots of disposable cash that love these types of products. We'll see where it goes, I guess.

And its not so much that I'm a big Apple fan, I just got tired of Bill Gates making a bigass amount of money selling crap.

LOL @ blackberries. never used one but i have not heard more complaints from any other brand of gadget. as much as i'm an apple hatter, i gotta give it to them for being innovative. they come up with some amazing products and theyre always leading the pack. if it werent for apple and the iphone, i would be able to post this pic

I use a blackberry for work and I love it. Go figure.
