The NEW cichla house!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
finally....Is that return one of those line locks from modularhose.com? Looks like the peruvians are coming outta their shell finally. Nice clean setup. Gl catching those clowns outta the 405. Damn that 4 spot is a stunner!

thanks a lot guys!! :D

yeah the return is a lockline fitting i had laying around. these things are sweet, have one on the 400 as well. clown loaches...:nilly: i think im gonna drain the tank half way, pull out all the driftwood and climb in!

it needs to be done though, poor things are scared to come out with all the monster bass. just the other day my temensis had one in his mouth  the clown loach spikes were jammed in its mouth, not letting him swallow it. banged on the tank until he spit it out. both recovered ok :)

it is inspirational. NICE.
Are those orinos for sale any time soon? :naughty: Maybe next socal meet?
sure, id be willing give these guys up for a nice intermedia :naughty:

Nice tank, my advice is to limit the number of tanks you set up. It is very easy to turn the hobby into a job, thus burning yourself out. I have 2 set ups, one for my dovi and one for fry, no more for me.

Very nice, you should keep something in the besides bass, broaden your horizons.

thx man, trust me ive burned myself out before! i actually only have 2 tanks running right now, this and the 400g. once these guys grow out i wanna try an umbie or beani. id like a dovii but i dont think this tank is big enough for one of those :)

You would have at least 2 years before a small dovi would outgrow that tank.

They are cool fish.
