i run carbon when needed in external HOT filters... pain to keep opening a canister just to exchange carbon.. set up looks good...

thanks boost n nice....im running biomax and a polishing pad on bottom tray, biomax and 1/2 a polishing pad in middle tray and bio balls and 2 blue fine filter pads on top tray. And carbon and bio wheels on HOBs
Here are some updates of my 125gal growout...with some new wood and the fx5 installed...also a new addition a 3.5" silver aro...to go along with my kelberis, azul and indo dat...all thats left is orinos and a ray (which i might scoop up this weekend)

here is another addition to my 125g cichla grow out!!! sorry i know he isn't a cichla but he is in a tank that is gonna be ran by cichla!!!
so as of now.....2 azul...2 kelberi....1 motoro...1 silver aro...1 indo dat.
but i'll be moving the motoro into the 260gal (in the process of removing all the gravel) and a 4" hystrix will be taking his place in the 125gal

pretty sweet channa, you NEED to scoop one up! probably the next best thing after cichlas of course!!!
