They will trust me. It's really all about timing with life and this hobby. You should never be down on yourself about what you couldn't do yesterday becuase today you can still make ways to make it happen tomorrow.

and i will follow that advice for the rest of my hobby life.:)
thank you great one.:D

The Orino's are taking Frozen Krill and doing fine. One of them has become the resident wipping boy of the tank so I am a liitle worried about him. I am going to be doing a little tank rearranging over the weekend and he may end up in a !0g by himself for a while. He is not looking so good. Of course the other O' is the main reason for the other's disposition at this time. I think he is taking the Hierchy thing a little far. I will post pics over the weekend as well.

I got these same Ven. Orinos from Jeff awhile back, and had similar issues. One of my Orinos was a real a-hole, and unbeleivably agressive. Constant gill displaying and bullying and herding. Then I added one of the Peru Monos and a Kelberi and his bullying slowly subsided. Hes still the alpha and makes it known from time to time, but it isnt constant like it used to be. I think adding the extra fish helped alot. I was almost at the point of adding a divider he was so mean.

Well, I should be picking up a 3" orino so if you want me to try keeping yours with mine for a while, you can. Of course, given my track record, I'm not sure that would be advisable

I took the divider out so the Mystery Cichla and them all mingle but the Bully O' still has not subsided. Also the other's kind of kicked the Bullying up a notch making it a little disturbing to watch. I will let it go on for a few more day's as I know it is just how it is. But I am not going to chance loosing any of them.

You my boy five grand and all but I DON"T THINK SO! Not until you get your's past the 8'' mark you are still on the Cichla Black List. But real talk it's not easy raising them from this young even for experienced Cichla keepers. It is a task all by itself just to get them to the 8'' mark. I think I will leave you to your new ones so you can adjust to there needs. And oh yea don't just throw feeder in this time hand feed them one at a time. 1. This will get them use to hitting top water. 2. It will make them more relaxed and receptive to accepting other type food's. ( I think the little guy's you had never relaxed) 3. They will only get to eat what you put in. So no chance of chocking this time from over eating. I would do this at least until there twice the size of the guppies and then you can chuck at least 3 guppies to 1 cichla. I had to chase the Tem off everytime at feeding because he would try to eat long after being full.

Yeah, I'm going to pay more careful attention to them this time. These 1"ers are the worst.
