Because i'm not an engineer so I over build just in case, to be on the safe side.

Is that a typo error in your thread title? Is that stand for a 180 or an 18000!! Either way it'll hold the weight! Haha. I'm like you though, total overkill, rather safe than sorry.

lol, that's how I feel. It's all scrap wood from other projects, so didn't cost me extra, why not be safe right .

I'm going to water proof it, then put 1/4 inch plywood and trim around it to make it look nice. Then I'll stain that.
