the new triggers came!

i ordered a blue jaw, humu humu picasso and a pinktail from Aqua Life Aquarium Inc. I highly recomend this company as a sorce. my fish all were listed as 3"/3-4", they are all in the 4" side of things. the humu and pinktail have been in the tank since 1:30-2:00pm and they are eatting already!

the blue jaw was DOA, but they have a 14 day warrenty and are making sure everything is taken care of. the fish were cheaper then anywere i saw, bigger then expected and in great condition. the shipping was even WAY cheaper!

anyway here are the pics of them and i will get some better ones once i find my camera usb cord.

here is the blue jaw, i will be getting another as soon as they have one availible. they said if they don't have one now (witch he thinks they do) they should get one in less then a week. sucks it died it was a nice looking male

i had a 1-1.5" baby clown, but i didn't listen to my inner voice and left the powerhead in the tank. it got stuck to the intake of the powerhead and died. just getting bigger triggers from now on and clowns are on the list.

brings my trigger count to 3

1x pinktail
1x niger
1x humu humu picasso
comming soon
1x blue jaw

then others down the line.

The humu looks really nice. Glad to see you got some new fish in, that is always fun, shame about the DOA though.

I am going to check out that companies website now though, seems like everyone and their uncle has an online fish shack these days.

will do, so far all good. the yellow tang was the first with beef with the new triggers, then it learned. the niger has made some flares toward them both and has backed off the humu after a nip from both sides. it has reduced the threats tward the pinktail. i don't think i will have a problem as the niger is 3/4" smaller in langth and 1/3 less the bulk of the other 2. i will move the rocks to try to give them all a seperate house as they did all seem to like the same hole with the pinktail winning, just want to be safe though.

i was well pleased with the humu and it was a last min addition that i was riding the fence on. not bad for a $35 fish including shipping.

as for the DOA it happens, just can't wait to get the replacement. for its size the double shipping+ fish cost is still less then other sites fish only price at that size.

they are mainly on ebay, but they have a retail store in Cali.
