behavior update

humu is no longer afraid of me. my pinktail is already reconizing me as the food guy. did a test on it. my kid looked into its hiding spot and it just looked at her. i looked in, it got excited and it went strieght to the top skimming the surface. the pinktail is also hand feeding already witch is a skill my niger took several weeks to do and it is still unsure of my hand. humu still runs from my hand, but not as far and it turns to see what i am doing after it gets a 'safe distance'. i just hope they don't learn from the clowns and damsels. any time i get within 1' of them or their rock they kill my webbing between my fingers. for some reason i think the triggers would be a much more unenjoyable event.

I do like that picasso trigger. Very nice

* Combine orders and SAVE! If your Diver's Den®/Coral Farm order also includes aquatic life in other shipping categories (excluding live rock & freshwater or pond plants), your Diver's Den®/Coral Farm shipment will only be charged an additional $14.99, regardless of method! If your total order includes items in the Aquacultured Corals/Diver's Den® category ONLY, standard shipping and handling rates will apply.

this is were i got mixed up i must have read it to be for all combined orders. i was looking at the first red colum as the standard aswell. my bad. still was $5 more for shipping.

I figured you misread. No biggie, just wanted to let you know. You got cheaper shipping and a better deal anyway.

They make you pay $15 additional because DD stuff is shipping from Wisconsin, and the rest of your order is either shipping from California, or in a much rarer case, Illinois.

That being said, Im guessing that $15 a package therefore is what fedex is actually charging F&S to do overnight.

My triggers were quick to hand feed as well. Nigers are skittish, I think its partially because they are more hesitant feeders with their small mouths.

Just be careful, my 2-3" niger bit me once and drew blood...when they get bigger it wont be good. :D

Great and beautiful fish!

thanx, can't wait till tues and the blue jaw comes in. i am off work for this week so i will go and get it at the hub so it wont sit on a truck all day to get cold.

I love triggers! I just noticed that the Pinktail looks pretty emaciated in the pics....although I shouldn't be too surprised considering he was just shipped to you. Just feed him a lot and he should do fine and fatten up.

ya i noticed it was thin aswell, but that is what happens when fish are in stores they never feed any fish enough. anywere you go it is allways just enough to keep the fish alive.

it is eatting multipal times a day, shrimp and new life spectrum pellets.
