The drip and dried up water marks would drive me crazy!

ergh didn't even think about the water marks! I agree then- I'll have it, but someone else can maintain it for me lol

I thought about doing this but incorporating into my drip system. Instead of a having a conitnuous drip displace old water, have the "rain shower" periodically come on and displace a set amount of water per "rainfall"(say 5 gallons per shower, 5 times a day)

i can actually do that setup since i use OHFs.
but i probably wouldnt do it that well.
its an awesome setup!

it's nice but i can't stand the sound of my spraybar if the water level gets too low much less that. but the lighting and decor is nice.

it would be nice for an outdoor pond... but inside the house would result in me killing myself after about 5 minutes
