The first one looks to be a tem, the next couple do look to be kelberis and the last one is a orino sp rio negro....

I hear " black water " cichla tend to be darker... Those guys may just be a bit stressed but besides the rio negro orinocensis, the rest are not the most appealing imo.

I posted this pic a few years back from a LFS in Hong Kong. At the time it looked like a leucistic/Plat Tem. Looking at it again in my new HD monitors is reinforcing the thought...lol. Some argue it was faded or stressed, but I dont see a single hint of camouflaged colors. Its almost as white as the Giant gourami in the same tank, and if it were faded, I dont think the black in the tail would look as strong as it does. Wish there were more pics....

i remember seeing that massive temensis when i used to live in Hong Kong ... maybe like 12 years ago.... it was just a normal( but HUGE) tem

Do you catch these in the pictures that you post??
That kind of looks photoshopped.

Flickr account I ran into from a fisherman in...Thailand If I recall. Ill find it and post it up. One of those Asian areas with introduced cichla. This wasn't the only one with markings like this.

As for photoshop...you would definitely know if it was manipulated by me...I suck with photoshop...lol.
