I can see why it was sold as g.stenoleucus and as you say, if it is then it’s almost fully grown. Although “stripes” could indicate a number of other knives (not carapo though) unless someone else is certain then you may just have to wait and see.
G.stavius gets 40cm and that’s a possibility for the similar patterning although I feel its band are slightly closer together.

Thank you very much, it seems to still be growing although slowly, i guess time will tell because little buddy isnt going anywhere anytime soon :)

Ps im leaning more towards anguillaris for now since its tail is very pointy and quite long if i compare to knifefish pictures online, most have a stubbed tail and this one is very pointy, wich would be a funny coincidence because thats the exact knife i was looking for thinking i got something else at first lol
