Jacks can cross with Convicts, all Central American Cichlid can interbreed.

my black cons throw about 40% pinks with each batch.

here is my rescue female (need new pics)

and her male..he is starting to grow trailers off his tail fin^_^ il have to try and get a pic.....they are both bigger now..and his head is all bumped up.

So pink is a recessive trait? And your regular cons are heterozygous for pink?

I know. But if you cross a Black con with a black con, and some offspring is pink. It means that those are het for pink? I might want to do pink con hybrids and i would want the hybrids to actually express the pink gene.
