This is making me wonder if my kels are these guys aswell. The tail and other markings match. The supplier doesn't "have" any info on them. It is a common event around here. No one wants to say anything...lol..

These have pretty distinct characteristics. Also I believe Jeff is the only person selling these fish in the states right now. When I was talking to him, he said he got the only 2 batches that pair had. So if you didn't get them from Jeff, mostly they aren't Rio doces

I didn't get them from Jeff. I know he does wholesale though and the tail bars are identical. I doubt if he did sell some to another store he would say anything. Money is money on the other side of the counter.

Ill get some pics to compare thoughts. They are still smaller at 4" but they are showing strong similarities here.

When it comes to these kelberi that sold out in a heatbeat...I doubt that's what you have gorak gorak It seems he either sells them himself, or ships them of to Japan where others pay high dollar. So unless you bought them from rapps, you have bahia kelberi.

I am fine with that. I just cant help but see patterning similarities. They are kels and that is what really matters to me at this point.
