WOW!!! NICE FISH!!! I can't believe I have not posted to this thread!! Well here ya go!!!
Female Fertile Faded Red Texas (from Rainnybetta)
Her male stud Green Texas from Rainnybetta
Juvie Growout from Batch #1 with Flash starting to fade now.
w/o flash
Texas x FH (Pearl Cichlid it was sold to me as) Taken Mid February 2010
Same fish at end of May at 6.5 inches (male)
I have anothe Texas x FH and one that was sold to me as RT, but has never Fade!!
I will post more pics soon!!!!!

-alotadollars- Looks like a pure breed carpintis to me. Nice colors and shape, and some do have a maroon shade in the fins and body. Mines does. Also i dont think its a her. Looks male to me

well i was told when i bought her it was male but after laying eggs and abouts to do it again i am sure its a she lol
