Yeah, he would make a difference... The difference is they wouldn't make it to the Belgium game...
 
Donovan is bench material at best on the US team. It's not like he would have played an important role like Messi and C. Ronaldo for their current team. Football is looking good for the US, more and more American kids start to pay a little more attention to it. There is also a lot of more of diversity in the US team, and US players have started to take notice to European leagues.

Hes still considered one of the top 3 players currently born in America. he should've been on the roster instead of the 7 players under 24
