Didn't have this set for private and my daughter gave me a crash course lol on embedding video's.
Still didn't work. You might be doing it this way already but this is how I do it...
Go to the YouTube app. Go to your video and just below it will say 'share' click on that and it will say 'copy link' click on that and then paste it here on your thread. My videos are set to public and work no problem. Hope this helped!
