Lake Sullivan, Metaline Falls, Kettle Falls (where the Columbia enters the state), etc... That is a very unknown part of the state, about 2 hours north of Spokane. Your pics make me a little homesick.

I might try to make it up there some time, but that's like a 7 hour drive.
 
I grew up around Potholes. I loved it up there. Now I live in Portland. It is a different kind of pretty over here on the west side of the mountains. I the eastern Washington though.
 
Western is way better. I need my trees. Potholes (Easter WA in general) is fun for a couple days, then I can't stand it. Ran into my first rattlesnake a couple weeks ago, and the damn ticks. No thanks.
