The Pacu who thought he could fly

My 12 in wolffish has jumped from the tank many times even with bricks.on the canopy. The first time he jumped out was early morning woke up to a noise from his tank got up turned his light light on and didnt see him. Soon as I start to back up I lok down there he is at my feet all po'd and I was barefoot just glad he didnt decide to grab my toe. I put him back in the tank hes fine didnt stop him from doin it 4 more times though. One,of my good buddies lost 3 wolf fish that way so I guess im lucky.

When I. Was like 5 my first fish was a betta, and I was transferring him from a bowl to a 10 gallon and he jumped right from the bowl into the tank.
 
My pacu has been acting really spastic the past couple of days so today as I am opening the lid of my tank he decided to flyout hit me right in the cheek lol i guess i needed to be slapped for whatever i have done wrong lol..he scared the crap out of me lol..
 
My pacu managed to slice his lower lip off. I forgot to put the tank lids back in place, and he must of jumped and hit the side of a lid.

My pacu routinely bashes her face into stuff and messes up her top lip but pacu are seriously the fastest healing fish I've ever seen. Even if she gets scratched or bit by another fish its always completely gone within a few days. Not sure if that's typical with pacu or just because my other fish don't get injured half as often but its pretty impressive how fast they heal lol. She did randomly hop out if the tank once tho, it was completely covered too but she hit the lid just right and went flying across the kitchen floor and into a pile of shoes. I thought she would for sure break her back before I caught her because she was so crazy and slippery but I finally got her back in the tank and couldn't even see a scratch just 2-3 days later
 
I had an Oscar jump out while I was at work a few years ago. Mom called and asked me what happened to my fish. She found him under the couch. Far too late to save him. My cats almost had the poor guy for lunch.
 
I was catching some Koi Carp for a customer and a couple were spooking really bad, making the others spook. I was leaning over the vat to see the particular Koi they wanted, and as I went to net it jumped out and hit me in the face before bouncing off into the water.

Koi carp to the face hurts.
