congo greys are amazing birds. They can attin the vocabulary of an educated seven year old... something like 2500 words or so. Unlike many birds who can only mimic, greys actually learn to identify objects by sight and sound. You have a great bird there. Treat it well.
The retic is a stunner! I hope you can provide a suitable enclosure for it. Big snakes can appear to be tame but can never be domesticated. It will always use instinct as a guide. Keep us updated with pics as it grows.

I have to be honest, I was pretty overwhelmed at first. These are very high maintenance pets and I've never kept a bird or a giant python.
But I feel pretty good now that I've settled into the the routine... I fully expect to be with my animals for a long time to come.
