ok so let's hear it, and / or see it. What's ur ideal setup for pirahnas. What species would you most like to keep and why? And what tank size & filtration. Substrate or bare bottom. Put some thought into it but be realistic. The 2000 gallon with a 500 gallon sump and 10 fx5's just isn't going to happen for most people. But still have fun with it! :headbang2. Ill start. I guess off the top of my head a 6ft x 4ft x 4ft with 3 fx5' or the ehiem equivalent. Those I would want seen. Maybe a black stand or stainless steel covered stand with three see threw doors to see filters lit up with leds. and moon lights for the tank also. Don't know much about lighting so ima have to skip that. As far as substrate I think id go bare bottom with maybe a pc of driftwood at most. Hella ez to clean. Species I don't really know. A rhom. Manuelli (spelling). That's just hard for me to decide on. But I would like to just keep one fish and see what I could do with it. There's mine. Let's hear yours!

Lol too many piranha to just choose one. 8'x4'x30" blk back, will be my cariba tank if I ever get stand & sump built. Cariba aren't my favorite though. Piranha are my favorite lol.

Understandable lol. To bad they all just don't get along. But then they'd lose there street cred. Haha

You can mix n match more than you think if you do it right & have a big enough tank & have nerves of steel. Yeah that's me in my avatar.thanks lol

If I knew for sure I could keep 2 rhoms together id do almost whatever it takes. Just can't have a huge ass tank. Id say the biggest the wife would allow right now is 6 ft long 24 inches wide. Height wouldn't matter but id want atleast 30-36 inches. Even at that I can't afford a tank that size. I have a glass 130 in my basement but its so scuffed up and scratched that I don't even want to set it up. Rather have a show pc if ima spend the $. Only tank running right now is my 30 gallon with an ac500 on it with 3 german blue ram cichlids and a pleco n it. I want a damn predator tank. Even if its a 55 or 75 for now

One of my 6' tanks used to be a snake tank & is scratched to beat hell. Filled with water 90% of scratches aren't even noticeable.I'd set your tank up.you'll be surprised!2 rhoms would be tough but a rhom & a few pygos is do-able(always that chance for failure)but its being done. Couple elongs.mixed pygos, macs & pygos.lots of options if your brave. Set your tank up & get a group of pygos, you'll be hooked!

Yeah I've filled it before and it wasn't as bad. Guess it would work for now tho since no luck in selling or trading it. It sprung a leak in a spot so I got to reseal that side before I do nething and would like to get it buffed if it would help. Ill have to check out pygos. Thought about setting up a 55 gallon bblack rhom grow out tank. If he'd be ok in it for a year or so.

Something about a rhom. All the changes there body is suppose to go threw has really made me want one to watch.

Oh. And a question about reds if neone can answer it. There is a fish store about 35 miles from me who has 2 rbp in same tank. Small tank like 10g or so. There about 3.5-4 inches each. They've been in there together for a long while that I know of and have no signs of fighting or scars etc... I thought there was a 1 or 3 law with these fish. Is it possible this is a paired up set? Or just **** waiting to hit the fan

Anything big enough to get a properly huge school of like 30 RBP's on the go, can imagine feeding time being like the bit in jurassic park when they lower the cow on the winch lol. I just find schools cooler to look at than individual badass fish.
