today i went there to get a fish and i found this upside down catfish that was pretty cool. i went to get it but it didnt have a price. the people there didnt even know it was in the tank!!! so since they didnt know what it was but i did..... but it wasnt stealing cuz they didnt have a price i got it for $4.98!!! it is at least a $10 catfish including size

) The Pet Industry is a tough place to make a living... even more so when your in the fish business, there are thousands to types of fish for these corp places like Pet smart, Walmart, Petco, Pet supplies plus... it's all about moving fish... they order their pets from a list based on what is proven to sell, like most orders that come in (our own included) they get extra fish that will be a "tank jumper" or a bonus to help make up for losses during shipping ect... They don't care enough to look up what it is... they just care about getting it on the floor so people can see it and buy it... Sometimes they don't even look in the shipping bags to confirm the species (which is how you end up with a tank full of mollies being sold as plecos
