I actually am planning to add more wood to the tank to help them feel more secure and have territories.
Hey not tryin to jack but u would know best, I have a senegal bichir when I got it size was around 3" now only maybe 4 inch After 8 months. Is mine a slow grower? Feed omega shrimp pellets, hikari cichlid gold and fry feeders in a 75g

Bichirs have steady growth, the only one I've kept that was really slow were mokes. A lot of times I've seen baby bichirs at LFS, and they don't always sell quick, and they stay small weeks later which is not normal at all. Their growth is stunted from malnutrition, and when someone does buy them, they get a bichir that doens't grow, that's usually the case behind 'semi-short body' bichirs, but individual growth does vary.
Only the big PBB's do, and it's not a fight as much as the dominant one picking on everyone else. He runs the place.
That del is an awesome oddball. Didn't you once said you like oddball lol

I might've. I like oddball fish, SB's albinos, etc... I would've preferred he grow out normally with a pattern like that though
Great looking polys Serg! That's an impressive collection, and great colouration in them all.
Thanks James, the garnet sand really brings out the contrase in the lapradei and PBB makes them look awesome. I feed massivore and tilapia filet as my staple.
Good to see you post Ricky, I've been waiting patiently to see an update on your collection! You're one of the OG's of the bichir scene with one of the most complete collections. I bet your lower jaws are massive by now.
