really depends theres no real best but a good way to find a good quality pellet is to look at the ingredients (look at the first 6 or 7 of them) if most of them seem like they are something that would come from something that a fish would actualy eat (like fish meal, krill meal, stuff like that) then that's a good sign of a quality pellet.Snipe;4119617; said:Very nice post. But what is the best type of pellet to give them? Any specific brand or type?
Personally I like hikari massivore but look into other brands as well and decide for yourself
I cannot deny that pellets are atleast 20X as expensive as an equivalent amount of fish fillet or shrimp but for such a concentrated nuitrient package they are worth it. (although if you are feeding them only pellets all the time your probably going to force yourself into bankruptcy lol)

kind of ironic I know, my question to you is would it be beneficial to feed my p's some of the scraps from my freshly caught fish? As in some flesh, or maybe the liver or heart or eggs? It seems like it should have lots of nutrional value to me but I thought I'd get your opnion. Oh its probably worth mentioning that the fish i catch would be either bass, panfish, catfish, so on and so forth (anything you can pull from a freshwater lake)!
