They are a lot more available than they were before. Still rare nonetheless, but if you want them, there's a few out there in the us for you to buy with the right price. I was offered last year but I wan't interested at that time.

You can get a 6-8" for about $ 1500-$ 2000 ish. A few years ago, they can go $ 3000 and higher..

The only bad thing about platinum is that noone ever know what will happen to them as they get larger. I think the largest known to this day is about 8" or so...

I have heard through the grapevine that some plat poly have a very short life span although noone have been able to confirm this yet

The owner, toru, is one of my friends. He has a plat endli that is about 12-13 inches. He's asking 3000 for it.

very nice, they breed them here in my country, some of them got a really nice white when others are more creamy.

yup thats where I saw it too, nice guy, but his stuff, mostly supplies are really overpriced

Sad To say but.. These Guys Are usually inbred to get the colour of plat.. the record size here in our country is a 16 incher.. Really nice colour.. will try to round up with the owner to get a few shots..
