Well, they just capture it again.
You can see other fishes swimming in the mud cause they are draining the pond.

I wasn't sure what they were doing but I knew it would be captured again at some point,being in a pond and all but at least it wouldn't have dried out in tbe sun and died mere inches from the water.

LFS was selling one month or two ago... 5 inches long and hitting the better half of a thousand... From what I've read that's too small to even guarantee survival and it's already pricey.

There's no real way to guarantee survival of any fish but most shops and vendors that do bring them in usually get them at around that size.....and the prices for them at some shops can be quite ridiculous lol.
