poor guy, being blind in that eye. he looks great but is he a little discolored or is it me?

That picture is 5 minutes after being put in the tank, and right after a 5 hour car ride sedated. He looks a lot better now.
 
hey mate, nice pick up. personally a busted eye wouldn't bother me either. especially for that price.

i hope you don't mind me posting this picture. it belonged to a friend of a friend and he killed it simply because it busted it's eye on rock decor in it's tank. i was spewin when i found out. i reckon it gives character!! it's good to know there is others out there who will give these fish a second chance.

Killed it because of that! That's harsh although that does look like what the butterfly fish had at the lfs that they cured...

Killed it for a bad eye! That one looks to be about the same size.
 
There's a tape measure beside it...appears to be about 20 inches.
