I don't even think you need a power head. with proper filtration you will get lots of water movement. in freshwater tanks, they are not necessary IMO. in reeftanks with filter feeding organisms like clams and corals, well, thats different - they need current to bring them food. but in freshwater, unless you have minimal filtration, you should have enough circulation without them.
