i've only been on this website for a few months. and i have a question regarding the interaction between members.

If this is supposed to be a community of fish keepers and people who enjoy our hobby, why do so many of you get off by flaming people? instead of judging people, showing your "virtual Punk attitude" why not be helpful. Yes let someone know when there is an issue with what they are doing, but not everyone needs to repeat the same message in a belittling tone written to humiliate the OP. You members who constantly do this need to change the way you think and write on here. If you know more than a poster, perfect, thats why we have this forum. But there is no need to voice your opinion in the way we know as "flaming"

just my thoughts on this matter. but i think some people still look for posts to do this to, because they have nothing better to do with their time.

While I agree we shouldn't belittle one another on here, too many people get to sensitive and defensive when someone tries to give them constructive criticism. Positive comments are great, but constructive criticism only makes us better fish keepers.

Another option for you OP is the "ignore user" feature. If there happens to be a person(s) that really grind your gears choose to ignore them. Gr8 has a a few stalkers I'm sure are on this list by now..
