Sadley herb lost his battle to his second lot of hex today. Although i miss him dearly i will NOT ever buy a flowerhorn again after such a bad experience of disease

All being well I'm gonna get in touch with a taxidermists and see if I can get him mounted, I have to admit I did find myself a little teary earlier

I'm very sorry fdor your lost but you shouldnt be discouraged man everybody have loss fish, so chin up mate!!!.


I also loss one female fader FH about a year ago and still continue in the hobby with two males, after one year, a week ago I sold one of the males and got a baby FH instead so now I have One 10" RD and a 3" RD both very healthy.

It's ok, I didn't see half the 'bad' stuff like shorter lives ect until I had him, someone else I know also recently lost two to hex, in a way I'm glad as I never got to see his full potential so never got to see the final loss if you get me lol

Don't give up on flowerhorns man. They are beautiful fish. It's part of fish keeping to have disease and illnesses affect your fish. Some may survive and some won't. It would be a shame to never want to own another because of this. You'll find another i bet lol

I've kepts severeal different tropical fish species among them Pirahna-both Nattereri and Caribe- some several Cichlid species, Salt water Fish and currently Flower Horn and it is Flower horn what I find most rewarding of them all.

I dont think I can keep other than FH in the Future, i like Managuense but if I get a Managuense it would be keeping it besides FH, I dont think I'll be quiting the FH hobby, lol!
