here's some pics, still figuring out this whole DSLR thing. i dont have enough light so the ISO goes up and makes the pics a little grainy. oh well, ill figure it out soon enough. im sure you guys could tell apart the rapps orinos from the rio negros by now.

thx man, using a nikon d40 with the standard 18-55mm it comes with. my next purchase is a 50mm f/1.8, not sure what brand though. my choices are limited because of the d40's lack of an autofocus motor :)

Here are my final 3 im keeping (out of 30 total I had:ROFL:). 2 Rapps and 1 IA
Rapps are 6.5" maybe a lil more. IA is 5-5.5":D
The pic with the Congi is IA's. Congi is 10-11" for Ref;)

Thanks. My guys still eat a lot. The bellys dont bulge as big but they still eat good. Last time I fed them from the pic was maybe 10hrs before n they still dont look skinny... after I took the pics I fed them and everything was gone with in a few minutes.

I dont know what it is but for some reason any fish I put in my 300 grow pretty fast. Like my Armatus that hit 16.5" in 10 months, got him at 1.5"

Maybe I feed them to much or maybe its the current in the tank?

I do have to say that their aggression has almost completly stopped the day I dropped my big 9" VATF in the tank. Orinos just puff and jamm. VATF shows no interest in any tankmate (Which is a G R E A T thing:D)

check out b&h for photo equipment they have very good prices, shipping is reasonable and they are reputable place to buy from. I'm trying to get a 3rd party wireless flash transmitter so I can shoot the flash into the tank from the top of the tank while taking the picture.

all the orinos in my video are from rapps' rio meta batch
