I see the de-humidifier there working overtime, especially with all that surface area.
You should look into an Airiva AIR EXCHANGER... takes as much wattage as a lightbulb and vents out all that humidity. Rather then running a dehumidifier, which sucks electricity like a fridge! Not to mention, allows more amps to run through that breaker, as the dehumidies are huge amprage leeches, too. Around $400-500 on eBay.
Holy cow! That is totally sweet! Beautiful looking rays!
Where are you in mn? Are you on Minnfish.com? Nice to see a major ray guy in minnesota! Also, do you have someone that builds those big square plexiglass ray tankss? Please pm me!
Thanks Everyone.
I'm going to have to check into the air exchanger,the only thing i dont like is the thought of it bringing in all the warm air too in the summer.?
I'm on minnfish sometimes {shawn} I built all the acrylic tanks myself.Did it about 10 yrs ago {when acrylic was alot cheaper}.
Right now im trying to get rid of all my discus breeding tanks,to get more into breeding the rays.Just tired of the discus.
I like opening the boxes when the rays arrive to see whats come in.Sometimes you never know what you are going to get.Just like its christmas every couple weeks.
That is a true Monster Garage LOL! Love the Jaquar, I have a male and female jaguar, and a male and female otorongo. My garage is full of motorcycles and parts, but would love to have one full of ray ponds.
The 2 ponds are finished . First pond has my group of Flowers and the second for know has my pair of Castexi's.
Have plans for 1 more 3x7 pond in the garage.Then its on to the 2 4x8's for the pair of tiger and the group of Jags{have 2 females coming in next week}
so i think my male will pleasantly surprised once they are ready to put in with him.Then i have plans for another 3x8 for the marbles.That will be it for know until i start to bring in other groups.Here are some pics of the pnods and then the females i'm bringing in.
