here is filtration setup for you to see real fast,

8 liters pond matix, 2 cubic feet of bio media , 4-7x17 100 micron filter socks, Auto drip hot and cold water, if you notice I am not even running any heaters. Air pump and water pump and that is it. The second media area is not all mixing as I just replaced the filter socks tonight and the media is not really held in place at all, its just mixes by the filter socks and then moves down later at time goes along and the flow carries it.

I love the filter! How often to you change the filter socks? It looks like you have 4, I like the way you plumb those and held them with the chain, I bet it's easy to change the socks that way. It would of been easy to just go with two socks but splitting it to use four socks is genius.

Well since the tank is not going anywhere soon I finally finished wiring my maintenance light within my setup. 2 18 Watt bulbs same as hood.
