  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Owe...looks painful. As a kid, I remember my dad catching a lure in the back of his head while casting in heavy wind. I also remember him telling the nurse at the ER that it was my doing.

lmao y didnt u jus cut the hook off lol

Actually tried with a pair of heavy duty surgical scissors advertised on tv as capable of cutting through a nickel coin. It didn't even scratch the surface of the hook. Also tried a hack saw but it caused too much movement of the hook and was too painful. Considered using the kitchen knife to cut it out but the
wife , she's a critical care nurse, persuaded me that the possiblility of infection is not worth it and the trip to the ER is the better course of action. So, off we went to the ER.

The Cichla looked even better with the hook in it's mouth. Here's a picture taken a few seconds before the fish transferred the hook to my left hand.

The HITH (holes in the hand) are gone, just a day later. Good as new again. lol

You shoulda just done it yourself, save you the wait in the emergency room. Snip and pull, over! Get back to fishing! :D

I tried the snip part and couldn't do it. It took 4 people at the ER to do it.

I'll a send you the same lure for free but only if you will stick one of its hooks in the back of your hand and try snipping the barb or the other end off with your other hand.:naughty:

you healed faster then the pb's lip

I now have PB blood running in my veins. That might explain the quick healing.
