In a 10g tank w/wife n kids
Ok what have you or are currently sacrificing to get that tank, fish, equipment, etc..........Supporting your /v\onsterFishKeeping addiction.

I'm currently giving up my new Dell Studio XPS and my 62 RI Fender Strat so that I can order a 7'x30"x30" tank.

I gave up restoring my Monte Carlo to get back into the hobby some years back. It's still sitting under my car port and probably has a locked engine. Since then I have sold quite a few things to keep updating my tanks. I quit buying stereo equipment (and have sold some), computer upgrades, and even save my alloted weekly spending money(lunch money lol) my wife and I set aside for ourselves for equipment I need, want to try, or just experiment with. Too bad this house didn't have a pool........... I wouldn't be surprised if I started getting Christmas cards from various online etailers.

My other hobby's traditional archery and bow hunting. Building my bichir bio-tope is eating up money which was going to go into a new long-bow. Oh well, my old one shoots fine just doesn't look too pretty anymore.

my free time. my money. my soul... lol mainly money and time. i have stopped driving like a maniac to save money on gas so i can buy new tanks and fish/supplies lol. fml

Yeah free time is a big one. I devote as much time to cleaning and maintaining my tanks as I used to devote to chasing skirts lol. ..... now I'm depressed :)
LOL! Try getting married, depression gets worse..... J/K

Sometimes my wife thinks I love the fish more than her but I remind her that it was because of her I got into this hobby. I told her DO NOT bring home the goldfish from our kids friends birthday party. Now look what she started. I went from a gallon fish bowl, to a 10g and so on. It's all her fault:screwy::screwy::screwy:

I still live w/ mom 'n dad so I can have my 2 horses and my fishtanks. I work full-time, and have no life. other then my tanks,my horses, and my parents. It's really kinda sad... lol but I'm happy.
