Yeah free time is a big one. I devote as much time to cleaning and maintaining my tanks as I used to devote to chasing skirts lol. ..... now I'm depressed

lets just say until i get my next raise im gonna be running a deficit every month from my addiction. might have to start sacrificing more. sacrificing booze would be terrible but might be necessary.

Sometimes my wife thinks I love the fish more than her but I remind her that it was because of her I got into this hobby. I told her DO NOT bring home the goldfish from our kids friends birthday party. Now look what she started. I went from a gallon fish bowl, to a 10g and so on. It's all her fault

I've cut way back on fast food, driving wrecklessly, and even gave up one of my guitars for two 55s and my oscars. My paycheck basically keeps going into the tanks. Next on the list is 2 new hoods, a new filter, a new heater, and another aerator. But I'm hoping selling the other 55 will fund a small bit of it.

I have given up any spare wall space in the house and most of the space in the garage, with no end in sight. It could be worse, I pity people who are not passionate about anything.
