I just wanted to know if anyone else has observed a fish almost, say, convulse. I have noticed this with my old oscar, a buddies oscar, and also his JD that he gave me. They just kind of lose control for a split second and shake. It looks like they are having a mini seizure. Kind of weird lookin. Is it a bad thing?

That's just like what I'm seeing in my little walleye. I'm treating them right now with Maracide Ich remover and at times he would shake his heat violently, not sure if it's from the disease or the medication. :screwy:

i havent seen a fish do this or i could not remember i dont know could be ether. could be mental send them to a fish mental hospital or counsolar for rage

I to have seem my fish shake , I was told it could be the fish is stressing out either buggin or from not so ideal parameter's .but my conclusion was the fish had'nt had ENOUGH ROOM !!. my 10''(55GAL ALONE) oscar shake's his tail (up & down motion)espacily at the dog if he get's to close even goes as far as bitein the glass to get the dog very unusual oscar I must say.. :screwy:

these situation are due to parasites. You may use a salt water bath or deworm your fish!
