I was refering to the people who died in the ship, I mean isnt there a story about the band still playing while the ship was sinking? Im just saying, I dont think everyone did everything possible to save themselves,

On the toilet

i get easily distracted going #2, add a sinking ship and I'm sealed shut

Lol,air and watertight huh...sounds like someone could use a little more fiber in their life.

Worst place to be would be in a full lifeboat. You live, but you know many didn't, and you hear the screams of the dying on the surface. That kind of stuff haunts you. Knowing there is nothing you can do, but watch, all those people die.

When you are inside, you have a pretty good understanding of what is about to happen.

Eh, fight or flight kicks in if you're inside. No way you calmly accept your fate. To me drowning seems like one of the worse ways to close the chapter on your life

I seem to remember DArius making a very similar thread not too long ago.He seems to really be into this kind of thing.

many people were still inside. Titanic had a very strange internal design. long hallways that ended suddenly, stairs that did lead in a dead end, locked bulkheads and a weird numberation of rooms. It was like a labyrinth. Add stress, chaos and strict seperation of the classes and you get your chaos. Many 3 rd class passengers had to run through first class areas to go on the boat deck. Thats were areas complely unfamiliar for them

This was in the back of my head when I asked the question, Also would much rather be in a crowded lifeboat than a sinking ship,
