Nice did you get him from Ken?

My girlfriend did..... I gave up after first few days. She took to facebook and with patience after a week or 2 finally got a pair bought, but unfortunately only one of them arrived alive....... Supposed to have a replacement sometime in March.

Really hoping it all works out in the end......

Nice I got some pike cichlids from him he's going back in March so he'll hopefully have more fish. He is going to the Uruguay River which is the border of Argentina... Makes me wonder if the argentine "big head" dorados (don't call them brassy anymore because vendors recently call all of them brassies just to jack up price even though they're just Frankie's) can be found there and if I should ask him to bring some back....

Would be interesting to see if he can get them. My understanding is they are under a quota, so would indeed be very interesting to see price/availability.

Pretty easy to tell the difference in pricing as Brassies aren't "just a little more"....... They seem worth it though, I've never seen 2 Frankies coexist side by side once they get some size to them......

I've been on the phone with him a couple times. I am still trying to get some issues with a sick grandfather worked out so I can go with them. I believe that you can keep and bring back 200+ fish(220) maybe, regardless of the fish or size. All I am after is Hoplias and Crenicichla species. Same with Ken, Crenicichla species. I only like the predatory fish, so expect lots of toothy critters. Just hoping I can get everything worked out with my grandparents, so I can leave without worrying and know he's taken care of. I'm the only person that's big and strong enough to move him around with the broken hip.

Let's see the underside pic :nilly:

Not sure my zoom would even make it visible... This thing is the size of a rosie....... lol

C'mon they're like Wes's Tor...... Get em weee lil bitty guys, grow em up to see whatcha got!

He's definitely a hungry lil fella I'm betting this is going to be another puppy dog begging kinda wolf.

Can't believe I went so long without wolves....... Absolutely love these lil beasts.

How big will it get,I've never heard of them?

Being a Lac I'd guess at least 1.5 - 2' at the small end....... One things sure, I plan to find out..... lol
