send some my way!!!

I had a mini snail infestation a few weeks ago. Luckily I was planning on starting up a little school of Clown Loaches. It worked perfectly. After a few days I didn't see another one and the Loaches got pretty chubby. :)

The crazy thing was that I was cleaning my filter (submersible), and there were probably 50 little ones going to town. I scraped them all off and dropped them to the bottom of the tank for some quick death. hehe

I've heard that if you catch it early you can put in a large piece of lettuce for a while then pull it out with a lot of the snails on it. I can't imagine it working too well but for the early stages it might help.

get rid of these things ASAP
when i picked up my clown loaches the guys i got them from had a rediculous infestation that he had been battling for like a year. there was thousands even hundreds of thousands of their shells on the bottom of his tank. you couldnt even see the substrate anymore...

None of the loaches are appropriate for a 10g tank, suggesting them is ridiculous.Reduce them by being more careful in your feeding. If you have to be rid of them all youll have to start the tank over from scratch, after bleaching or tossing everything in it.

:iagree: You should not buy a school of snail eating loaches loaches (clowns especially) with thier only purpose for snail eating. When you buy a fish, you buy it for life.

maybe a smaller loach like a coolie.
