I'd start a pumpkin patch!!!!

Pumpkins don't pay well enough here. We do already have a watermelon patch though and cantalope! :D Our golden melons are ripe! They put a regular watermelon to shame! We're putting in 1/2 hectare of corn, 1 hectare of rice, and the rest in sugarcane with the exception of a HUGE (by my standards) pond at the bottom of our property for Tilapia. (hectare = aprox 2-1/2 acres) The pond is already in as is the dam for it, but it is dry and I need to clear out the brush and some tree stumps from it.

Nice, grandparents are crazy for marigolds...used to be everywhere where they used to live. Can't you just pick off the dead flowers and a new one will be forming underneath?
actually there are seeds...i put them in the refrigerator to dry them out a couple of months then plant around this time of year.. jump start pretty flowers for porch..

I see your not in the U.S. I just said that since we have Haloween here(don't have a clue if you there) and people go crazy for pumpkins during Haloween.

Sounds like fun, have people to plant this stuff, I'm assuming you don't hand plant. lol

about 10 willow trees in there............. yes they are started in water... i had to hope that they would not need to be potted too soon..looks like everything came out alright just in time for spring planting outside..the willows grow fast as babys.. so they should be little trees the end of summer.

nice willow trees! i thought they were pus*ywillow trees. I luv those. saw a black one once, should have bought it when i had the chance.

pack, i saw ur post. i just dont feel like joining another thread just for an answer. If ur a member there could u do it for me? plz? lol :)

I see, thought it was one tree...lots of roots soo fast for 1 tree. lol Take pics of the little trees when you plant and end of summer, would be kool to see how they grow in a summer before they stop for the winter.
